Abstract
The fragmentation of knowledge fields on themselves, and the import and export of what suits their topics and paths is a sign of openness and inclusiveness that makes their concepts vulnerable to accountability, criticism and scaling, which requires the opportunity to move from the conceptual stage to the terminological identification stage that reduces what it deems appropriate from those concepts, and the fact that the monetary field among the fields most in need of terms due to the fragmentation of intellectual philosophies and ideological affiliations of writers, critics and scholars; We decided to delve into the maze of two important terms: structuralism and literary genre. The research plan included the following: Introduction: In it we talked about how to move from the field of concepts to the field of the term, which is affected by historical development and the environmental factor; And it is in the form of word or composition. The first chapter: In it we clarified the multiplicity of visions of critics on the western and Arab levels, and from there is a difference of names, especially the emergence of the term curriculum and its tyranny over other terms. The second chapter: We talked about the differences between the critics as well, on the western and Arab levels, and how the term genre dominates neighboring terms such as type and form. In conclusion, we ask Almighty Allah to be satisfied with what we have presented, and we wish to benefit those who wish to have benefit.
